An ML-powered queue that prioritizes express and in-slot orders in the right sequence, reducing delays and manual coordination.
The picker app now orders the queue by delivery deadline automatically. Pickers know which orders are express or in-slot without waiting for a supervisor to walk over and point at a screen.
Before this change, dark stores struggled with mixed queues, confusion, and delays. Supervisors had to constantly redirect pickers to the right task, which created bottlenecks and extra management overhead.
In a rollout with a regional grocer we measured a 10% lift in on-time picking and were able to remove the supervisor dispatch role entirely — a direct win for on-time, customer experience, and labor cost.
